Job Type: Part-time/Contract (Remote)
Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and creative Marketing Virtual Assistant to
manage our social media presence. This role involves creating engaging content, developing
relevant graphics and videos, and scheduling posts using Loomly.
WordPress updates will be considered a plus. The ideal candidate will have a passion for
marketing, a keen eye for design, and the ability to work independently.
Social Media Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement content strategies across multiple social media platforms
(Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) using existing branded templates
• Create and edit engaging graphics, images, and video content tailored to our brand
• Schedule monthly and manage posts using Loomly to ensure consistent content
distribution
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers
• Track performance metrics and provide regular reports on social media engagement
and growth
• Collaborate with the team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals
• Update and maintain WordPress website content (optional but preferred)
Email Marketing Key Responsibilities:
• Create and schedule 2 email campaigns monthly for SMART Tech and Print Solutions in
Mailchimp
• Schedule Hurricane Havoc Blog in Mailchimp monthly
WordPress Responsibilities:
• Post Hurricane Havoc Blog to website www.hurricanehavoc.com
• Update pricing when necessary www.smartusvi.com
Current Marketing schedule:
• Bourne Group – 2x weekly.
Currently none scheduled or posted
• Smart Tech and Print Solutions – 3 times weekly + 2 emails monthly.
Scheduled thru October 2024
• Hurricane Havoc – 3 times weekly + blog
(Social media scheduled through end of 2024)
• INSPIRED by Stacy – 2x weekly
Currently none scheduled

Requirements:
• Lead weekly 1 hour meeting with principal to discuss, review and approve content
• Proven experience as a Social Media Assistant or Marketing Assistant or similar role
• Proficient in social media management tools (Loomly or similar)
• Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or equivalent)
• Video editing experience
• Strong understanding of social media trends and algorithms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with WordPress for basic website updates is a plus
